    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Aston Villa are reportedly on the verge of agreeing to end their brand new deal with Castore following issues with the new wet-look kit they are playing in this season.

The Villa players are said to be annoyed by the jersey as they tend to get soaking wet with sweat during matches and become a hindrance for the players.

Meanwhile, Newcastle are said to have triggered an option to exit their deal with Castore that will see them switch to another company after the 2023-24 campaign.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

The Toffees will close the deal with Castore even though their prospective new owners, 777 Partners, have seen another club under their ownership, Genoa, end their contract with the company after just one year.

The American investment company is all set to assume control of the Premier League side, but are waiting on approval from the Premier League before the takeover can be completed.
