Europa League Team of the Season: Giroud & Aubameyang star for Arsenal & Chelsea

The Serbia sensation smashed 10 goals over a wonderful Europa League campaign, including one in each semi-final leg as Frankfurt lost out narrowly to Chelsea. 

That brilliant form, as well as a similarly impressive season in the Bundesliga, has seen 21-year-old Jovic become one of this summer's hottest properties as the transfer market resumes.

So often the forgotten man, the French forward came into his own in a sparkling Europa League run that included a goal in the final. 

Giroud netted 11 in the competition to take the top scorer award, proving that he can still play a part in Chelsea's plans.

A serious knee injury robbed Loftus-Cheek of the chance to shine in Wednesday's showpiece. 

Up to the final, he had been one of Chelsea's most consistent Europa League performers, contributing four goals and three assists over the course of the tournament.

One of the best performers on the pitch during the first half of the final, Maitland-Niles was powerless alongside the rest of his team-mates when Chelsea upped the ante after the break. 

His consistent performance across the competition nevertheless mark out the 21-year-old as a rare talent at left-back, as he proved to Arsenal he has a big future in their first team.

The 25-year-old contributed one goal and two assists to his side's campaign and also proved a formidable obstacle defensively, forming part of one of the competition's strongest rearguards.
