    THE BIGGER PICTURE

The sight of Ronaldo's jet being back in Manchester had led some fans to speculation on a potential shock return to Old Trafford, particularly with the Red Devils struggling badly for goals. Ruben Amorim's side sit down in 15th place in the table and have managed just 28 goals in 25 Premier League games. Only Ipswich Town and Southampton have scored fewer goals in the English top flight so far this season than the misfiring Red Devils.
