Mexico released its preliminary Nations League Finals roster Monday afternoon, with some experienced faces returning to the fold following time out of the squad. Legendary goalkeeper Memo Ochoa and long-time winger Chucky Lozano are in the initial list. Meanwhile, Raul Jimenez is back after impressing in a duo of friendlies in October. Milan forward Santi Gimenez is also in the squad - and will offer stiff competition for the Fulham striker.

The 60-man squad is just a preliminary list for the games - which aren't until the end of March. El Tri will announce a narrowed-down, 23-man squad closer to the fixture. March 10 is the final deadline for roster submission.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Lozano's inclusion is something of a surprise. The winger, now of MLS expansion franchise San Diego FC, has not been named to the Mexican side since Javier Aguirre's appointment in July 2024. Assuming he remains fit, Lozano's return would figure to add some attacking firepower to the side.
