Chloe Kelly and Alex Greenwood stun on the red carpet as Lionesses and Man City stars join Maya Jama, Rita Ora and host of A-listers at MTV Europe Music Awards

Some of the biggest names in music and other celebrities descended on Manchester for the MTV Europe Awards on Sunday. And after helping City secure a thumping 4-0 win over Tottenham in the Women's Super League on Friday, the Lionesses pair glammed up for the big event.

Photos show Kelly wore a matching bandeau, hot pants, a jacket and thigh-high boots for an eye-catching outfit. Meanwhile, Greenwood wore a pared-back, wide-leg suit with a tailored blazer. She finished the look with a deep red clutch and square-toed heels. Incidentally, Greenwood presented the Best New Artist award alongside City defender Ruben Dias.

Taylor Swift was nominated in seven categories on the night and came away with four awards. Raye won best UK artist, Liam Gallagher picked up best rock artist and Calvin Harris won best electronic artist. The show was hosted by singer and songwriter Rita Ora.

Lionesses stars Kelly and Greenwood will turn their attention back to football matters on Tuesday when City host Hammarby in their next Champions League group stage fixture.
