Alexia Putellas, Aitana Bonmati, Sam Kerr & the best women's players on EA Sports FC 24

The Barcelona star has a card fit for arguably football's most complete player, and has sole claim to the highest rating in the game. Although she missed the entire 2022-23 campaign, Putellas has done enough to stay at the top.

EA drew the anger of many for her low rating prior to the Women's World Cup update of last year's game, but that appears to have been amended here. The driving force behind Spain's successful campaign is now the second best player in the game, narrowly trailing her centre-midfield partner.

Completing the Barcelona trifecta atop the rankings, Hansen has retained her 90 overall rating from last year. Although her pace and dribbling stats have dropped marginally, Graham Hansen is still one of the best players in the game.

Kerr replicated her excellent 2021-22 campaign last year, bagging 32 goals and leading Chelsea to the WSL and FA Cup double. And although her rating dropped by one point, she should still be one of the most effective attacking players in the game.

Diani was asked to play out of position last year, and still excelled. Nominally a winger, she spent much of her time occupying a central role for an injury-ridden PSG — and still won the Golden Boot.

The Norwegian striker is the second highest rated at her position in the game, and deservedly so. Despite an injury-riddled campaign, she showed up in the big moments for Lyon, and a full year of fitness should work wonders for one of the world's best No.9s.

A stalwart at the back for Barcelona's record-breaking side, Leon has done every bit to deserve the standing of the highest-rated centre-back in the game.

Morgan wasn't at her best last season but still popped up with goals for San Diego in her second campaign for the club. And although her rating has dropped, she remains one of the best attacking players in the new game.

One of the NWSL's brightest talents, Debinha made a high profile move to Kansas City after the 2022 season. And after leading NC Courage to the NWSL Challenge Cup, and Brazil to the Copa America, she certainly deserves her 88 rating.

Katoto missed the entire year after tearing her ACL during Euro 2022, but still remains one of the highest-rated strikers in the game — although her rating has dropped two points.

Another one of the game's elite, Popp is finally being recognised for her consistency, seeing her rating increase for the second straight year.

Kerr grabbed most of the headlines, but Reiten was an equally important part of Chelsea's success in 2022, and has been accordingly rewarded with another high rating — rounding out a strong Norwegian contingent in the upper reaches of the new game.
