Comolli’s work doesn’t end with Yildiz. His larger mission is to tie down the players who form the backbone of the team’s future. Among them is Thuram, considered “untouchable” and set for a contract extension until 2030. Thuram’s renewal reflects the club’s long-term faith in his partnership with Manuel Locatelli, forming a midfield engine designed to last a decade.

Similar renewal talks are underway with Federico Gatti, Andrea Cambiaso and Weston McKennie, ensuring depth and continuity across key positions. The Serie A club are also planning smart market moves for January, targeting a right-back and a rotational midfielder to ease the burden on their core squad. Names like Jordan Teze, Rapahel Guerreiro and Arnau Martinez have emerged as potential options.

Juventus’ start to the current season reflects cautious optimism. The team has looked more cohesive under coach Tudor, balancing attacking with defensive resilience. Yildiz has already contributed two goals and four assists in eight appearances, continuing his upward trajectory.
