During his official presentation as a Pumas player, Aaron Ramsey admitted that much of what he learned about his new club came from the internet.
"First, I had to get the OK from my wife… I spoke with a few people. But over the last two weeks, I’ve had conversations with the club staff, and then I turned to Google, some YouTube, and stuff like that to learn more about the club," Ramsey said with a smile.
The 34-year-old midfielder, who previously played for Arsenal, Juventus, and most recently in England’s second division, is making history as the first Welsh footballer to play in Liga MX. Despite the unconventional path, Ramsey spoke highly of the Mexican league and expressed enthusiasm about the challenge ahead.
“I think it's an exciting league, with quality players and competitive teams. I’m really looking forward to experiencing it firsthand,” he said.
