Elated by the midfielder's heroics, a group of Arsenal fans set up a GoFundMe page to raise an extra £25m for the Hammers - as per <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-12832161/Arsenal-fans-hilariously-set-GoFundMe-page-pay-West-Ham-25m-Declan-Rice-105m-summer-signing-scored-stoppage-time-hand-league-leaders-4-3-win-Luton.html" target="_blank">The Daily Mail</a>.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The description of the fundraiser on the official website of <a href="https://www.gofundme.com/f/underpaying-west-ham-for-declan-rice" target="_blank">GoFundMe</a> read: "In light of the unfortunate robbery of West Ham United. We are asking Arsenal fans to come together to raise funds for West Ham United to compensate the underpayment of Declan Rice. It has become evident in the last 15 weeks that Edu and Arsenal were the beneficiaries of a £25,000,000 underpayment to West Ham United."

WHAT ARSENAL FANS SAID

The Arsenal fans behind the page have jokingly claimed that the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/news/arsenal-confirm-gbp105m-declan-rice-signing-transfer-saga/blt4e708d8968bea327" target="_blank">club record fee of £105m</a> paid to the Hammers was not enough for a player of Rice's capabilities. The 24-year-old has scored three Premier League goals this season, including another last-minute striker against Manchester United, which helped his team seal a 3-1 victory at the Emirates Stadium back in September.

With a five-point lead at the top of the table, Mikel Arteta's side will now prepare to face Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday, before travelling to the Netherlands to take on PSV in their final Champions League group stage clash on Tuesday.
