Trouble for Arsenal?! Al-Nassr launch move for Real Madrid's Rodrygo in search for Cristiano Ronaldo support - but Gunners hold advantage in transfer pursuit

According to Sky, Al-Nassr have joined Arsenal in the transfer race to sign Rodrygo this summer. The Saudi giants have an unlimited transfer budget in this window and have identified the Real Madrid star as their priority target on the recommendation of Ronaldo. They have already gotten in touch with the player's representatives and are working hard to convince him to head to Saudi Arabia.

The report adds that while the offer from Al-Nassr will be exponential, the Selecao star would prefer to move to the Premier League, if he even decides to leave Madrid. Rodrygo has been strongly linked with a move to English giants Arsenal this summer, who are in search of quality attacking options.

According to Diario AS, the Gunners are leading the race to sign the winger this summer, although Madrid are expected to demand a fee in the region of €90 million (£77m/$106m).

Rodrygo could be next seen in action on Saturday as Real Madrid take on Borussia Dortmund in a Club World Cup quarter-final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
