The popular Women's Super League forward, who has amassed over 16.3 million followers online, treated her many fans to a preview of the new kit made in collaboration with the popular football game. The range has been released under the label 'Be Brave', a slogan which features alongside a rose in the centre of the jersey, which is based on Lehmann's actual tattoo. The kit crest is also made up of the initials of the Aston Villa superstar, AL.

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

The collection builds on Lehmann's initial release of the 'Brave Rose' campaign back in April 2023. The current 'Be Brave' iteration is available to claim in Ultimate Team in EAFC 24, alongside matching stadium themes, crest, tifos and banners. The move marks a seminal moment in the women's game, as Lehmann becomes the first female footballer to collaborate with Ultimate Team.

  • WHAT LEHMANN SAID ABOUT THE DESIGN

The Villa and Switzerland star told GiveMeSport: “I’m so proud to collaborate again with EA for the next chapter of the Brave Rose story. The story behind the second ‘Be Brave’ vanity kit really shows people who I am. My rose tattoos signify focus, channel confidence on and off the pitch and allow me to be my best self. I can’t wait to play FC 24 Ultimate Team in my new kit and I hope players are inspired by it, too.

“The team at EA helped me come up with my designs, but they knew that it had to have a real feminine look because that’s important to me. I’m a real girl and I love fashion, and as I’ve mentioned, it has to have my rose. Then we went back and forth with ideas, and now it’s just so amazing to see it actually in the video game and people will have their players in my kit, it’s just amazing!"

  • WHAT LEHMANN SAID ABOUT THE IMPACT

On her collaboration with EAFC 24 and the potential long-term impacts, the forward added: "Without question, most young kids look for role models, whether it be sport, music, fashion - everything really. EA SPORTS FC is great because it merges football, music and fashion together and is just a really cool game, so to have us women footballers on there is a huge boost to the status of the women's game."

  • WHAT NEXT FOR LEHMANN?

The collaboration announcement marks another busy moment during the Villa player's supposed rest period. Lehmann has been seen attending a special needs school, working hard in the gym and even relaxing in the hot tub as the WSL winter break continues. The Villans are not in action until January 13 when they host Everton in the FA Cup fourth round.
