Russo found the net 12 times across 20 league appearances for the Gunners, while Shaw managed the same tally in just 14 matches. Shaw’s goal-scoring frequency stood out as the highest in the league, averaging 0.85 goals per match, solidifying her status as one of the deadliest forwards in Europe. For the second year in a row, Jamaican forward Bunny Shaw ends the season with a share of the Golden Boot, following her phenomenal 21-goal haul in just 18 games the previous season.

While attackers stole the headlines with their scoring exploits, the defensive stalwarts also had reason to celebrate. Chelsea’s Hampton and United's Tullis-Joyce will share this season’s Golden Glove after both finished with 13 clean sheets. Hampton clinched her final shutout during Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Liverpool on the last day, pulling level with Tullis-Joyce, who had been leading the charts.

Chelsea crowned their sensational season by remaining unbeaten, sealing a 1-0 victory at home against Liverpool in their final fixture. With that result, the Blues concluded the campaign on 60 points, comprised of 19 wins and three draws—a league record in terms of points collected in a single WSL season.

This historic run marked the first time a club has gone undefeated across a full 22-match WSL campaign. Although other teams—Arsenal in 2012, Manchester City in 2016, and Chelsea in 2017–18—have previously achieved unbeaten seasons, none had done so over the expanded 22-match format.

At the opposite end of the table, Crystal Palace’s difficult campaign came to a close with a heavy 5-2 defeat against Manchester City. Having already been relegated last month, Palace bowed out of the top tier with little consolation, paving the way for the London City Lionesses to join the WSL next season.
