    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Estupinan opened the door to a Brighton exit in June when he said "he would like to keep growing" and that he was assessing his options this summer. Despite being linked with Manchester United, the former Villarreal man appears to have chosen Milan instead.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

The defender swapped Villarreal for Brighton in 2022 for around £15m ($20m) and went on to make 104 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals along the way. His first season at the club was very impressive but injuries and dips in form, arguably, prevented him from hitting those heights again.
