    Milan's clash with Bologna this weekend at the Renato Dall'Ara Stadium in Bologna, but it has been postponed after heavy rains and flooding battered the Italian region. Serie A have claimed that the game has been pushed back to "a date yet to be determined". The rain claimed the life of a 20-year-old man, but Scaroni insists the game could have taken place behind closed doors.

    A meeting between authorities confirmed that Bologna's home stadium was not capable of hosting the game and so alternatives were sought, including Como's stadium, but it appears to have ended in disappointment. Now, both clubs face the prospect of the fixture being shoehorned into an already busy schedule.

    Scaroni said: "With a decision that is incomprehensible in my opinion, the mayor has banned the match behind closed doors. I don't understand why , but in the face of the mayor's order we bow our heads."

    Milan's next fixture may now come against Napoli on Tuesday. They then face Monza the following weekend, before a meeting with Real Madrid in the Champions League.
