Yacine Brahimi leads Porto to Portuguese Super Cup win

The Algeria star got the all-important equaliser to set his side on their way to a silverware win, but was forced off in the first half

Porto rallied from behind to defeat Desportivo Aves in Saturday’s Portuguese Super Cup win, and Yacine Brahimi made a telling impact.

14th minutes into the tie at Estádio Municipal de Aveiro, the Primeira Liga champions fell to Claudio Falcao effort.

But 11 minutes later, Brahimi benefited off a Vincent Aboubakar ball to start Porto’s fightback.

Although the Algeria winger was forced off in the 39th minute, the Dragons held on to complete the win in the second half.
