According to the club's official website Rakhale, who joined United from Pirates, has signed a three-year-deal with the Eastern Cape-based side..

However, Pirates chairman Irvin Khoza recently stated that Rakhale had moved to the Chilli Boys on loan.

Mntambo and Macuphu have been impressive for Ezenkosi this season, scoring an impressive 10 goals between them in the NFD and will further boost United midfield.

“The signing of the four players is a clear indication of our intention to consolidate our position in the top 8, and play continental football next season," Mpengisi told the site.

"Thabo Rakhale is a typical Chippa United player and will add flair and goals to the side.

“We are delighted to welcome back Nkosinathi Mthiyane, a player who is familiar with the culture of the Club, and will get an opportunity to revive his career,” he continued.

“I have been following the career of both Mntambo and Macuphu at Jomo Cosmos and they were both arguably the most exciting players in the NFD.”

"They will start training with the Team on Thursday and should all be available for selection for the first game of the year against AmaZulu” Mpengesi added.

“There will be players that will leave us during this window period, and we will announce the names in due course," he concluded.

Meanwhile the club also confirmed the return of Roger Sikhakhane, who joins as Technical Adviser/Assistant to Teboho Moloi.
