Jesus 9, Neymar 10 - Brazil squad numbers this month

The Brazilian Football Confederation announced on Tuesday the squad numbers for this month’s Brasil Global Tour matches against Uruguay and Cameroon.

The big news was for midfielder Rafinha, who not only replaced the injured Philippe Coutinho in the squad but has now inherited his Barcelona colleague's no.11 shirt.

Casmeiro, too, withdrew through injury this month and his no.5 shirt has gone to another Barca midfielder, Arthur.

Marquinhos has switched from his customary no.13 to the no.4. Tipped to be the long-term leader of a new back-four for the Selecao, the PSG man’s change of number signifies his growing importance to the team.

Napoli midfielder Allan, meanwhile, will hope to make his international debut in the no.18 shirt.
