'I’m very happy at Fulham' – Sone Aluko casts doubt over Craven Cottage exit

Sone Aluko reveals that he is happy at Fulham and is ready to help the team secure promotion to the English Premier League next season.

The 28-year-old joined the Cottagers from Hull City last season and has shown glimpses of his best form since arriving in English Championship.

Not minding calls for him to dump Fulham for topflight action, the forward says his focus remains on playing regularly and help the team return to the Premier League.

''I'm very happy at Fulham,’’ Aluko told Goal.

''Yes, I played regular football and I only missed one game which for the last two years I've never had that level of play.

''I'm not in a rush to leave Fulham but like every player you want to play in the Premier League. So you'd never know in football.

''But now, I'm exploring aggressively right now. If it comes, I'll look at whatever comes. But my focus now is to get promoted with Fulham which I'm believe it's a possibility.''

The Cottagers were a win away from the English Football League play-offs final, but were denied by a 1-0 defeat to Reading.
