Godfrey Walusimbi reports to camp as Uganda Cranes get ready to face Tanzania

Former Gor Mahia defender Godfrey Walusimbi is among 24 players, who made the cut in Uganda Cranes squad to face Tanzania.

Walusimbi, who ditched Kenyan champions for a deal with Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa, is expected to play a key role for Cranes against Taifa Stars.

Walusimbi, striker Edrisa Lubega and goalkeeper Salim Jamal are some of the players, who took part in Monday training session at the Namboole Stadium.

Other Group L members are Cape Verde, who lost to Uganda by a solitary goal and Lesotho, who settled for a 1-1 draw with Tanzania in the opener.
