Afcon qualifier: Frank Ouna blames pitch condition for Kenya defeat

Harambee Stars assistant coach Frank Ouna says the Siaka Stevens Stadium's pitch was a let down to his team.

The Kenyan side, led by captain Victor Wanyama, fell 2-1 to the hosts Leone Stars, who scored their goals courtesy of Julius Wobay and Umaru Bangura, with the visitors getting their consolation through Michael Olunga's spectacular free-kick.

The former Gor Mahia tactician told the local website site in a post match interview that the pitch was the main undoing. "It was tough because we played in unplayable pitch; the pitch is not good to play football. But congratulations to the home team, it has managed to win, but our focus is now on the forthcoming match."
