Roy Hodgson 1/7 to replace Frank de Boer at Crystal Palace

Four Premier League games, four defeats and no goals scored was enough to condemn Frank de Boer to another very short managerial spell.

Having lasted just 85 days at Inter prior to his appointment at Selhurst Park this summer, he was in charge for 77 days at Selhurst Park.

Paddy Power have a market available on who could be set to replace De Boer in south London and Roy Hodgson is just 1/7 (1.14) to be the club's next permanent manager.

The former England boss has been out of work since leaving the Three Lions following a disappointing performance at Euro 2016, seeing his side knocked out by Iceland in one of the shocks of the tournament.

Having seemingly been in the running for the vacancy just a few months ago, Burnley boss Sean Dyche is next in the market at 7/1 (8.0), having seen his current side deal what could well be the final blow to De Boer's spell in charge.

Dougie Freedman is rated as a 10/1 (11.0) shot ahead of Wales manager Chris Coleman, former Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini and Sam Allardyce, who left the job at the end of last season and seemingly has no desire to return. They are all available at 14/1 (15.0).

The Eagles are now 10/11 (1.91) for relegation according to Paddy Power, who rate them significantly shorter in the market than most other firms, some of who are still as big as 6/4 (2.50) that the club drop out of the top flight this term, despite their terrible start.
