Brasil Global Tour Venues: The Emirates Stadium

The Chevrolet Brasil Global Tour resumes this week in a spectacular setting as the Selecao meet Uruguay at the Emirates Stadium in London.

Opened in 2006, the Emirates is home to Premier League club Arsenal FC and provides what many suggest is the most comfortable matchday experience in the country to around 60,00 spectators.

Brazil first visited the Emirates in 2006 on an afternoon that saw Kaka score on of the great goals in recent Selecao history, as he raced away from Lionel Messi and the entire Argentina defence to help secure a 3-0 win over their great rivals.

On Friday, the Brasil Global Tour returns to the stadium for the first time since 2015, when Roberto Firmino grabbed the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win over Chile.

Brazil’s last match in the English capital arrived last year, when we headed to the iconic Wembley Stadium for a goalless draw with England.

The five-time world champions meet la Celeste on Friday, November 16 at 20:00 local time.

Brazil take on Uruguay in the Brasil Global Tour at Emirates Stadium, London on 16 November (KO 8pm). Tickets from £30/£15 on sale at www.arsenal.com/brauru2018
