    WHAT HAPPENED?

The Red Dragons have added Peterborough forward Jonson Clarke-Harris and Sheffield Wednesday striker Lee Gregory to their transfer wishlist for the winter window, according to Darren Witcoop of the Mirror. Goals have not been an issue for the club so far in their League Two journey, however, Paul Mullin's fitness and Ollie Palmer's age have likely prompted them to look for options in the market.

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

The Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney-owned club have had a very good season in League Two as they sit third in the league, level on points with Mansfield Town in second. They have scored the third most goals behind league leaders Stockport County and Notts County, and look like one of the favourites for promotion to the third tier of English football.

    DID YOU KNOW?

Last season saw the Red Dragons break the National League record for the most points accumulated by a team in a single season when they gathered 111 points in 46 games. They managed to achieve direct promotion to the EFL for the first time since 2008.

  • WHAT NEXT FOR WREXHAM?

The Red Dragons failed to end their on as high a note as had been throughout the year as they lost 3-1 to Walsall with the only goal being scored by Paul Mullin. Luckily they haven't lost much ground on their competitors as both Stockport and Mansfield failed to secure victories on the night.
