Phil Foden's family to sell luxury £3m house just days after receiving abuse from Man Utd fans in Man City's draw at Old Trafford - with England star's parents in noise row with neighbours

Foden's parents currently reside at the property, which Phil bought in 2021. The City star lived there along with his parents for a number of years, before moving in with his fiancee Rebecca Cooke and their three young children. In 2022, the Foden family were reported to the police for excessive noise, according to reporting by The Sun.

Foden's mother has been in the news repeatedly this week, after United fans levied abusive chants about her during the Manchester derby last Sunday. A visibly distressed Foden was subbed at the 58th minute mark after picking up an injury. The England player was defended by his manager, Pep Guardiola, and also his paternal grandmother, who called the abuse "disgusting".

Foden bought the Cheshire property in 2021 for around £2.8m. The mansion features a swimming pool, golf simulator and wine cellar among other luxuries.

The 24-year-old will need to put family business and media scrutiny to one side as he looks to regain his fitness. City will need the maestro at his best for push for Champions League qualification. The Cityzens travel to Goodison Park to face Everton next weekend.
