"Kyle is the baddie" - Man City & England star Walker told he's 'in the wrong' as former WAG urges his ex-mistress Lauryn Goodman to be 'respectful' towards wife Annie Kilner

TV personality Lizzie Cundy has weighed in on the Walker-Kilner-Goodman drama, saying she feels "sorry" for the two women and that the former Tottenham defender is "in the wrong" for his infidelity. The former wife of ex-Chelsea football Jason Cundy also had sympathy for Kilner but called on Goodman to be more "respectful" to Walker's wife.

She told the Mirror: "I feel sorry for both Annie and Lauryn, I really feel for both of them. He's in the wrong, without a shadow of a doubt, footballers think they're invincible and can get away with it. From the age of seven they're told they're great and go on to earn huge amounts of money.

"I really do feel for Annie, she's just had a baby and there is Lauryn and she's got a camera crew, she's on telly, if I was Lauryn, I'd give it a bit of time and be more respectful. It's hard for everyone involved, he's done wrong. It's very tough because there are kids involved. I did think it wasn't good that Lauryn went to the Euros, you don't want to be cast out from the football world which I think has happened.

"Nobody wants to be the Yoko Ono of the football world. I don't agree with her, she knew he was with someone else at the time and had a family. I've had it done to me, I know that pain and what it's like, it's very tough. Kyle is the baddie, I think after the court case people started to sympathise with him from all the financial demands she was making, which I don't think Mariah Carey would even ask for."

Walker and Goodman have been in and out of court this summer over a well-publicised child maintenance battle concerning their one-year-old daughter Kinara and four-year-old son Kairo. As Walker tries to repair his marriage with Kilner, who have four children together, Goodman has repeatedly criticised the footballer - with their legal battle seemingly far from over.

Aside from Walker's off-field drama, the 34-year-old is currently out with a hamstring injury - one that forced him to miss City's last two games. It remains to be seen when he will return as Pep Guardiola's team prepare to face Brentford on September 14.
