Kyle Walker's consultant caught in 'drugs raid' as police uncover 90 cannabis plants shortly after playing key role in AC Milan loan deal

According to The Sun, Walker's consultant, Michael Rankine, had his home raided by police this week after officers allegedly found more than 90 cannabis plants with a potential street value of £75,000. The report claims the force also found equipment used to produce the Class B drug.

This comes shortly after Rankine, 40, joined former Manchester City captain Walker on his private jet as he completed a loan move to Milan. The ex-Bournemouth forward was even photographed with the England international as he was unveiled to the Italian giants' fans. Sun sources say this drugs raid revelation was a 'huge shock' to everyone.

The report adds Rankine is employed as a football consultant for London firm CAA Base. It represents Premier League footballers such as Tottenham’s Son Heung-min and James Maddison.

South Yorkshire police confirmed in a statement that officers executed a warrant at a property in Doncaster. A police statement reads: “Following officers entering the property, we discovered a cannabis set-up.”
