Harry Kane and Antonio Conte reunited? Bayern Munich targeting fiery ex-Tottenham & Chelsea boss to replace Thomas Tuchel if Xabi Alonso move fails

The Bundesliga giants will find themselves in the market for a new boss this summer as they prepare to part with ex-Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel. Another man that has previously spent time at Stamford Bridge could be drafted in to help fill that void.

Conte is considered to be an alternative option for Bayern if they miss out on top target Xabi Alonso – who remains tied to a contract at Bayer Leverkusen and would require a sizeable compensation fee to be paid out in order to get a deal done.

If an agreement proves impossible there, with Alonso also attracting interest from other clubs across Europe, then La Repubblica reports that Bayern will turn their attention to Conte. The fiery Italian has savoured title success in the past with Chelsea, Juventus and Inter.

Conte has been out of work since leaving Spurs in March 2023, so would be available to step straight in at the Allianz Arena. He has managed prolific Bayern striker Kane before, along with Eric Dier, and would hope to get Bavarian heavyweights back on the trophy trail if they miss out on major silverware this season.
