THE BIGGER PICTURE
Coffey, 26, joined the Portland Thorns in 2022 on a two-year deal and helped the club win the NWSL Championship in her maiden season. She was also named in the NWSL Best XI for two years in a row in 2022 and 2023. Coffey earned her first international cap for the USWNT in 2022 when she made her debut in a friendly match against Nigeria.
