  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    The Spaniard is now set to return to AC Milan after his loan spell in Turkey ended. According to Fabrizio Romano, AC Milan are unwilling to retain the striker this summer as the striker has received a proposal from Cesc Fabregas-managed Como. Negotiations are now underway between the player and the Italian side.

    The 32-year-old ex-Real Madrid star had an impressive outing for Galatasaray this year, as in six months he appeared in 12 league matches, where he scored six goals and provided three assists. Before heading to Turkey, Morata had played 16 Serie A matches for the Rossoneri, where he scored five goals.

    Como have announced the fixtures for their inaugural Como Cup, which is part of The Football on the Lake Festival. They are set to face Saudi side Al-Ahli on July 23 to kick off their pre-season campaign.
