A €55m payday for Kylian Mbappe! PSG ordered by French legal commission to hand over salary and bonuses to Real Madrid star despite claiming he had waived them

Mbappe is set to receive this enormous amount from PSG, after the French league's appeals commission ruled against the Ligue 1 club in the case of unpaid wages. PSG had insisted they did not owe their ex-striker anything, but will now have to fork out a staggering €55m sum.

Mbappe previously rejected an attempt to mediate the dispute, and PSG had argued that they had a verbal agreement with the France star for him to forego any bonus payments and return to the starting XI. Now, with their appeal rejected, Mbappe will hope to receive his money swiftly.

The LFP told the Associated Press: "The club (PSG) must pay him the parts of his salary he is claiming.

"This decision is not subject to (further) appeal, but can be raised before the executive committee of the FFF (French soccer Federation)."

Mbappe will next be in action when Real play Barcelona. It will be the striker's first experience of El Clasico, and he will hope to make a significant impact.
