Shooting Stars Overview

Crystal Palace striker Eddie Nketiah is weighing up his international future after Ghana made a fresh approach to secure his allegiance. Despite having previously represented England at senior level, the forward remains eligible to switch to the Black Stars under current FIFA regulations, leaving him with a major decision to make regarding his long-term international career.

Carlos Queiroz has been surprisingly reappointed as Ghana head coach less than two months after resigning from the role. The former Real Madrid boss initially walked away following the Black Stars' World Cup exit but will now lead the team during this month's international window.

Royale Union Saint-Gilloise forward Mohammed Fuseini was violently dragged from his car and robbed of his Rolex watch and mobile phone by five attackers outside a Brussels nightclub on Sunday morning. A team-mate captured the brutal assault on camera, aiding police in making an arrest as the judicial investigation continues.
