“He’s a joke,” says Arsenal youngster Charles Sagoe Jr when asked to describe what it’s like working with Bukayo Saka. “What you see on the TV is how he's applying himself every day in training. It’s very inspiring.” And when it comes to inspirational figures, there are few better around for Sagoe Jr to learn from and work alongside than Saka.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta confirmed that Bukayo Saka is dealing with a "niggle" after leaving the England star on the bench for Saturday's Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground. Saka did appear as a second-half substitute but could not conjure up a goal as the Gunners missed the chance to go nine points clear at the top of the table.

Bukayo Saka has agreed terms on a new five-year deal with Arsenal. Saka's current contract runs until 2027, so the Gunners were under no real pressure to tie Saka down in north London. However, the homegrown winger has now agreed to extend his stay at the Emirates until the summer of 2031 with the Premier League leaders keen to reward the wideman's fine form.

Jack Grealish argued over a comparison between Everton ace Iliman Ndiaye and Bukayo Saka, and reckoned that his Merseyside teammate is more skilled than the Arsenal talisman. Speaking on a Stan Sport podcast, Grealish argued that while Saka remains among the most effective wide players in world football, pure skill belongs elsewhere in the Premier League.

Bukayo Saka conceded Arsenal had "luck" on their side as they narrowly edged past a "frustrating" Wolves side 2-1 courtesy of two own goals on Saturday evening. The England international was heavily involved in Sam Johnstone and Yerson Mosquera putting through their own net as the Gunners moved five points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
