Paris Saint-Germain defender Illia Zabarnyi has hit back at critics who label Ligue 1 a "Farmers League" following a testing afternoon for the French champions. The Ukrainian international played a pivotal role as Luis Enrique’s side were forced to dig deep to secure all three points on the road.

Paris Saint-Germain’s tactical flexibility was put to the ultimate test in Alsace as they secured a thrilling 3-1 comeback victory over Strasbourg. The opening period was defined by the hosts' high-intensity pressing, which bore fruit in the 17th minute when Giovanni Reyna found the net following a well-constructed move involving Gessime Yassine. Although the visitors dominated possession, they lacked the verticality required to break down the low block, heading into the interval with significant work to do.

Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique praised Maghnes Akliouche's seamless adaptation and technical quality ahead of Saturday's Ligue 1 trip to Strasbourg. The Spanish coach highlighted the France international's versatility as PSG aim to break into the top three.

The midfielder played all four games during the international break, but has another big one this weekend against Paris Saint-Germain.
