And that, transfer friends, is all for today. Thank you very much for following. We'll be back right here from 09:00 BST for more of the same as the deadline approaches. And - exciting times - we'll also have the Premier League LIVE up and running tomorrow from 10:00 BST. But that's all from here. Cheerio, and don't forget to WATCH THIS SPACE.
It's the one, the only... Alex McCarthy! The 24-year-old goalkeeper has joined QPR from Reading. Fair play. Was it worth delaying party time for? No. But there you have it...
Right, QPR, we've had a long, hard day and it's Friday. Friday means it's party time. And you're delaying party time by announcing a transfer right as we're due to head off. If this is another Premier League fringe player coming in and getting loaned out straight away, we're not gonna be happy. We're waiting, so this better be good...
The Daily Express claims Swansea could still sell Wilfried Bony before the close of the transfer window... but only if a club pays £24 million for him. The striker scored 25 goals in his first season with the club and was linked with Liverpool and Tottenham earlier in the summer. Check out that and all of today's rumours in Transfer Talk.
Transfer Talk: All the latest rumours
Nineteen-year-old midfielder Lewis Baker has agreed a new five-year deal with Chelsea. He's only made one first-team appearance for the club - as a late substitute in the FA Cup against Derby last season - but has experience with England at Under-17 and Under-19 level.
Oh hello. Pace, consider yourself well and truly gathered. According to the Daily Mail, Fernando Torres has completed his move from Chelsea to AC Milan, while the Daily Telegraph is saying he has agreed a two-year deal with the Serie A club. Without wanting to go all Woodward... WATCH THIS SPACE.
Loic Remy was hot property earlier in the summer but it seems his failed Liverpool medical put off potential suitors. However, with Fernando Torres set to depart and Mattia Destro seemingly staying at Roma, the Daily Star reports that Chelsea are ready to reignite their interest and make a late move for the QPR striker.

According to the Daily Express, Tottenham will allow Roberto Soldado to join Juventus on loan once they complete the signing of Danny Welbeck from Manchester United. Welbeck is expected to sign for Spurs on loan before Monday's deadline, while Soldado has been linked with an exit all summer after a miserable season in front of goal last year (but he's great at penalties!).

Over £100m in one window ain't too bad, you know! #TEAMWOODWARD
That said... plenty of deals still need to be done #WAKEUPWOODWARD
Every other tweet to the @GoalUK account is asking for Arturo Vidal news. Well, I'm afraid, Manchester United fans, it doesn't look good. The club are pursuing a deal for the midfielder in the final few days of the transfer window but the player himself tweeted earlier today that he is "100% ready" for the start of the Serie A season with Juventus.

So many big clubs around Europe have tried - and failed - to bring in new central midfielders this summer. Then, out of the blue, Bayern Munich snap up Xabi Alonso for €10 million (£8m). Bargain? Pep Guardiola thinks so. "Alonso is very experienced," the Bayern coach said. "He has seen everything. He is a model professional and will help us. He is a great catch."
Alonso is a top catch, says Guardiola
The done deals keep on-a-coming as Swansea complete the signing of Australian midfielder Giancarlo Gallifuoco on a one-year contract. The 20-year-old was a free agent after leaving Tottenham and joins up with the club's Under-21 squad. Is it just me or is that shirt five sizes too small for him?
The Middlesbrough manager told the club’s official website: "Everyone knows that Patrick is a very good player with a bright future in the game. He scored a lot of goals during his previous loan spells and will be a good addition to our squad. I first enquired about trying to bring Patrick to Middlesbrough last December so I am delighted that everything has now been agreed. I’m looking forward to working with him."
Middlesbrough have completed the signing of striker Patrick Bamford on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea. The 20-year-old was prolific in the Football League last season, scoring 25 goals in loan spells at MK Dons and Derby, and joins up with the Championship club after Jose Mourinho told him he would be best suited working under Boro boss Aitor Karanka - his former assistant at Real Madrid.
Good news, Chelsea fans! Diego Costa, struggling this week with another hamstring injury, has travelled with the squad and is available for selection against Everton on Saturday after coming through light training.
