Transfer hint? Paul Pogba wears surprise kit as French superstar continues preparations to return to football after 18-month doping ban amid Monaco links

The France star has been sweating it out on the training ground in the United States as he gears up for a return to football. Pogba shared photos of his latest workout on Instagram and raised a few eyebrows as he was seen sporting a Boca Juniors shirt.

Pogba's next destination is still undecided, although it has been reported he is wanted back in France with Monaco. The Ligue 1 side are hoping to bring Pogba and Barcelona forward Ansu Fati to the club this summer in a bid to bolster the squad. Pogba is available on a free transfer, following his departure from Juventus, and is said to have been offered a two-year deal.

Pogba has linked up with former Manchester United team-mates Sergio Romero, Edinson Cavani, Marcos Rojo, and Ander Herrera at the Club World Cup. The quartet all now ply their trade in Argentina with Boca. The Frenchman has also been spotted swapping shirts with Boca legend Juan Roman Riquelme at the tournament.

Pogba will be hoping he can finalise his future over the summer and be ready for the start of the 2025-26 season. The Frenchman has not played competitively since September 2023 but looks ready to get back to work.
