Fluminense midfielder Andre has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in the January transfer window, with Manchester United and Liverpool both keen on the 22-year-old. THE BIGGER PICTURE

Beating the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool to Andre would be a massive coup for Fulham. The Red Devils have targeted the youngster as a potential replacement for Casemiro, who has struggled for form in his second season at Old Trafford. Meanwhile, Liverpool made contact with Fluminense for the midfielder in the summer and were told Andre would stay until the end of the year but the club were willing to talk about a potential transfer "in December."

    WHAT NEXT FOR ANDRE?

The Brazilian season is due to end in early December and it seems as though Andre will then try to seal a move to the English top flight. Fulham have recently handed Silva a new three-year deal at the club, after he rejected approaches from Saudi clubs, and are expected to back him in the transfer market.
