Predicting Bafana Bafana XI to face DR Congo - Broos banking on Percy Tau, Lepasa to solve attacking woes

Bafana Bafana switch attention to facing DR Congo in an international friendly match at Orlando Stadium on Tuesday.

Coach Hugo Broos has indicated that he will make major changes to his squad and will give playing opportunities to those who did not play on Saturday.

Bafana forwards struggled against Namibia and Broos would want to fix that.

GOAL takes a look at how the Belgian could line up his man on Tuesday.

But he will be keen to stop a five-match streak of conceding goals where he has let in no less than six.

    RIGHT-BACK: Nyiko Mobbie

Mobbie came on as a substitute against Namibia but he was deployed in an unfamiliar position in midfield.

This time around he could be back to his natural role as a wing-back.

    LEFT-BACK: Innocent Maela

Broos has a decision to start Maela or Mamelodi Sundowns' Aubrey Modiba at left-back.

But Maela is likely to start as he has, in the past, proved to be the coach's favourite even when he is no longer a regular at Pirates, a club he captains.

The Sundowns defender was an unused substitute against Namibia and is likely to be given a run on Tuesday.

The Bafana central defender wore the captain's armband on Saturday and provided leadership skills as South Africa did not concede.

    CENTRAL MIDFIELDER: Grant Margeman

Margeman was named Man of the Match against Namibia and it was his first Bafana match under Hugo Broos.

Another eye-catching performance against DR Congo will help him shut out Njabulo Blom from national team selection.

The Sundowns man is slowly becoming a favourite of Broos and could be entrusted to partner Margeman in central midfield.

    RIGHT ATTACKER: Percy Tau

After being rested against Namibia, Tau is expected to be back in the Bafana squad although he might not play 90 minutes according to fitness reasons he provided.

The Pirates forward is yet to sparkle in national team colours and that remains something he intends to achieve.

The Pirates star was an unused substitute last Saturday and fans clamoured for his selection to reproduce his club form.

    CENTRE-FORWARD: Lyle Foster

The Burnley forward has been in top Premier League scoring form and would want to transfer that into the national team after receiving a lot of criticism after the Namibian game.
