The England international, who played 90 minutes for the Three Lions in their disappointing 3-1 friendly defeat to Senegal, is looking to relax and unwind during his summer break. He has not been included in City’s squad for the FIFA Club World Cup.

That is because he spent the second half of the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Serie A giants AC Milan. A permanent transfer option on the veteran full-back is not being taken up at San Siro.

The owner of a Chinese takeaway in Macclesfield, Cheshire has revealed that the 34-year-old spent £341.60 on a mega order that included salt and chilli prawns, chicken wings, spare ribs, crispy beef and a £105 whole aromatic duck.

Fans on social media have joked that Walker "has got two families to feed", with the six-time Premier League title winner waiting to discover what the summer of 2025 will bring in his professional and personal lives.
