  • WHAT HAPPENED?

The Manchester City player revealed after the game that he had told Alexander-Arnold he would pay him £500 if he scored the effort from distance. Alexander-Arnold, filling in at left-back, curled the effort into the top left-corner to double the Three Lions' advantage after Grealish broke the deadlock.

  • WHAT GREALISH SAID

Speaking to ITV after the game, Grealish explained: "I said to Trent Alexander-Arnold ‘if you score this free-kick I’ll give you £500’ and he just slapped it in the top bins, so now I owe him."

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

England bounced back from a disappointing defeat to Greece on Thursday to win comfortably in Helsinki. Grealish opened the scoring after 18 minutes with a low curling effort after being played through by a lovely Angel Gomes pass. Alexander-Arnold's free-kick then made it two before Declan Rice added a third and Finland scored a consolation goal through Arttu Hoskonen.
