Liam Rosenior has finally addressed the intense scrutiny and online mockery that defined his short-lived tenure at Chelsea, insisting that he is far from the 'joke' he was portrayed as. Both Premier League heavyweights are competing to sign the 23-year-old midfielder after the south coast club set a £100 million asking price for their prized asset.

Real Madrid have won the race ahead of several European heavyweights to capture Manchester United youth prospect JJ Gabriel following his refusal to return to Carrington. The 16-year-old talent has already begun training in the Spanish capital while waiting for his departure from Old Trafford to be formally ratified.
