Bruno Fernandes threw a pitch at Rate Field while attending the Chicago White Sox' MLB game against local rivals Chicago Cubs on Sunday. The Manchester United captain enjoyed a break from pre-season preparations as he took some of his colleagues to watch the Baseball action. Fernandes was also able to meet White Sox stars such as Miguel Vargas.
Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim admitted that club captain Bruno Fernandes loses his temper quite often on the pitch which in turn affects his focus on the match. Amorim shared an advice for compatriot on what to do on the field. Fernandes was on fire during the club's first pre-season friendly in the US tour as his brace helped United pip West Ham 2-1.
Manchester United duo Diogo Dalot and Bruno Fernandes have been granted extended leave on compassionate grounds following the tragic death of their Portugal team-mate and Liverpool star Diogo Jota. The 28-year-old forward and his brother Andre Silva died in a devastating car crash in Cernadilla, Spain in the early hours of Thursday, July 3.
