How to watch today's Crystal Palace vs Fredrikstad Europa Conference League play-off game: Live stream, TV channel, and start time

Crystal Palace are set to write a new chapter in their history books on Thursday as they step out for their first-ever European fixture, welcoming Norwegian outfit Fredrikstad to Selhurst Park for the opening leg of their Conference League playoff showdown.

The Eagles' path to this competition was far from straightforward, with UEFA rulings controversially bumping them down from the Europa League into the Conference League. Their visitors, meanwhile, arrive in South London after bowing out against Midtjylland in the Europa League's third qualifying round.

Here, GOAL brings you everything you need to know about how to watch, including TV channel, streaming details and more.

Crystal Palace team news

Oliver Glasner will be forced to juggle his options, with a lengthy injury list leaving him without Caleb Kporha, Chadi Riad, Cheick Doucoure, Daichi Kamada, Eddie Nketiah and Matheus Franca

On the brighter side, transfer speculation around Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi has cooled for now, and both are expected to be available to play key roles on Thursday. Glasner could still freshen things up, with the likes of Borna Sosa and youngster Romain Esse pushing for starts, though the core of the side that held Chelsea to a draw last time out should remain intact.

Fredrikstad team news

Fredrikstad, on the other hand, will look to their leading marksman Emil Holten, who has six goals to his name this term and will be eager to return to the XI after coming off the bench in that second-leg defeat to Midtjylland.

Behind him, the midfield trio of Oskar Ohlenschlaeger, Leonard Owusu and Patrick Metcalfe is set to stay unchanged, with Stian Molde and Simen Rafn expected to provide the width.
