FC Unirea Dej Overview

Completely crazy results! What is suddenly happening with Switzerland's surprise champions?

Only a few weeks after the sensational league title, FC Thun are falling apart. The provisional low point is being dubbed the "shame of Poznan".

RANKED: Top 20 managers of the European season

The 2025-26 European season is over, and it ended just as the 2024-25 did 12 months earlier, with Paris Saint-Germain lifting the European Cup at the end of the Champions League final. Saturday's win over Arsenal in Budapest was a much tighter affair than their thrashing of Inter in Munich, but was greeted with no less joy by the French giants and their supporters as they clinched a double having already won Ligue 1.

It’s been 70 years since that last happened! Newly promoted side on the verge of their first title

As a newly promoted side, FC Thun are on the verge of winning the Swiss championship. The squad includes two club legends in key roles – and Marco Bürki as the defensive linchpin.
