The Portuguese tactician has lifted the lid on the remarkable physical and emotional hurdles the Bafana Bafana star overcame to inspire his side to Wafa Wafa glory. The 28-year-old forward has reflected on the Sea Robbers’ 2-0 defeat to Masandawana in the Wafa Wafa showdown, which saw the Buccaneers surrender their crown. The loss also ended their hopes of securing a historic fifth consecutive title in the competition.

Despite the celebrations for the Brazilians, former star Junior Khanye has hit out at the decision-making that defined the final at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
