The Portugal match incident returns to the forefront

Denmark manager Brian Riemer has issued a glowing assessment of Rasmus Hojlund, suggesting that while rivals may not see him on the same level as Erling Haaland, the striker is just as vital to the Danish cause. The Napoli forward proved his worth once again by securing a crucial victory for his nation during their latest Nations League outing in Cardiff.

Wales endured a frustrating night in Cardiff as their Nations League campaign hit another stumbling block against a superior Denmark side. Despite a spirited defensive effort for large periods, a lapse in concentration at the back proved fatal for Craig Bellamy's injury-hit squad.

Borussia Dortmund could come back from the international break pretty battered. Alongside Nico Schlotterbeck, Julian Ryerson is now also at risk of being unavailable.
