Jamie Carragher has once again taken aim at Rio Ferdinand, accusing the former Manchester United defender of compromising his professional integrity to protect his former team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo. The fallout comes after the Al-Nassr forward caused a stir by walking out on the Portugal national team following a heated row with manager Jorge Jesus.
Al Nassr maintained their pursuit of the Saudi Pro League summit with a dominant 3-0 victory over Al Diriyah at Al-Awwal Park. Goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Samu Costa, and Kingsley Coman ensured a routine evening for Ange Postecoglou's side.
