The Tennessee Titans and Las Vegas Raiders square off on Sunday, Oct. 12, at Allegiant Stadium as part of the NFL's Week 6 slate.
Tennessee finally broke through for its first victory of the season in dramatic fashion, rallying from an 18-point deficit to stun the Arizona Cardinals 22-21. Rookie quarterback Cam Ward showed poise beyond his years, guiding the Titans to several clutch drives late in the game while the defense took advantage of Arizona's costly turnovers to seal the comeback win.
Another week, another gut punch for the Las Vegas Raiders and their frustrated fan base. Nobody really expected them to topple the Indianapolis Colts in Week 5, but there was at least a glimmer of hope that the offense might finally show some life and make it a respectable contest.
Instead, the Raiders completely imploded — a total meltdown that saw them humiliated in a 40-6 thrashing to drop to 1-4. It wasn’t just a loss; it was the kind of defeat that leaves you questioning everything from the play-calling to the locker room morale.
Las Vegas Raiders vs Tennessee Titans kick-off time

Team news & squads
Las Vegas Raiders team news
Geno Smith is still searching for his rhythm in Las Vegas, and the stat sheet tells a brutal story. Nine interceptions lead the NFL, and he’s already been sacked 16 times. He does have six touchdown passes and 1,176 passing yards — good enough for 11th in the league — but turnovers and pressure continue to haunt him. The Raiders’ defense isn’t helping matters either, giving up 27.8 points per game (eighth-worst in the NFL). The Titans aren’t exactly a fortress either, surrendering 28.2 points per game, ranking seventh-worst in the league.
Sunday’s matchup will be even trickier for Las Vegas with key injuries biting them. Brock Bowers (knee) and Michael Mayer (concussion) are out, while left tackle Kolton Miller (ankle) remains on injured reserve. Bowers and punter AJ Cole (ankle) skipped practice Wednesday, though Mayer was a full participant. The Titans, meanwhile, had 10 players either limited or absent, including kicker Joey Slye (calf), CB Marcus Harris (calf), WR Van Jefferson (ankle), LB Arden Key (quad), and DT Jeffery Simmons (ankle).

Tennessee Titans team news
Las Vegas won their opener but has since dropped four straight. Tennessee enters Week 6 riding the momentum of a shock 22-21 road win over the Arizona Cardinals. The Titans’ comeback was fueled by a late 16-point surge in the fourth quarter — and a huge break when Arizona’s Emari Demercado let a 72-yard touchdown slip through his fingers. Instead of staring down a 28-6 deficit, Tennessee went on an 80-yard drive to keep the game alive, with rookie Cam Ward throwing for 193 fourth-quarter yards.
Ward, the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, finished the contest with a season-high 265 passing yards, engineering the game-winning drive that set up a 29-yard field goal from Joey Slye as time expired. Despite the late fireworks, the Titans still sit tied with the Browns for the fewest points in the league this season at 73. But Sunday’s comeback offered a tantalizing glimpse of what this offense could become when it finds its footing.
Injuries, however, have been a recurring issue for Tennessee this season. With players like Will Levis and Mike Brown on injured reserve, the Titans have had to dig deep into their depth chart. Still, they’re hoping to build on last week’s win and carry that momentum forward as the season unfolds.

Raiders vs Titans Fantasy Football
Sunday started off like much of the early season has for Cam Ward (12.4 projected Week 6 fantasy points), a frustrating mix of missed throws and stalled drives. Through three quarters in Arizona, the rookie signal-caller had completed just 8 of 21 passes (38.1%) for a meager 72 yards (3.4 yards per attempt).
Then, out of nowhere, Ward flipped the script. In the fourth quarter, he delivered the best football of his young career, going 13-of-18 (72.2%) for 193 yards (10.7 Y/A) and finally showing signs of life. Sure, he threw an interception, but even that miscue turned into a Titans touchdown. Maybe, just maybe, that late-game surge could be the spark that gets his season rolling.
That said, Ward still hasn’t cracked the top 20 among fantasy quarterbacks this season, so it’s hard to put him higher than a fringe QB2. Still, Week 6 gives him another chance to build on that momentum — and fantasy managers will be watching closely.
Meanwhile, Tony Pollard (9.7 projected Week 6 fantasy points) finds himself in a steady but unspectacular situation. He remains a safe start simply because of his workload and a favorable matchup against the Raiders, though he hasn’t exactly lit the fantasy world on fire lately.
As for Geno Smith (14.6 projected Week 6 fantasy points), he continues to make his critics look like prophets and his supporters look foolish. After tossing three ugly interceptions in a very winnable game against Chicago, he followed it up with two more picks and an abysmal 18.9 QBR in the blowout loss to Indianapolis.
The lone bright spot for Las Vegas? Their rookie sensation Ashton Jeanty (13.7 projected Week 6 fantasy points). Despite playing behind a shaky offensive line and an inconsistent quarterback, Jeanty continues to shine. The sixth overall pick logged 14 carries for 67 yards and tacked on another 42 yards on five receptions — totaling 15.9 PPR points. The kid’s a gem in an otherwise dull Raiders offense and already looks like a weekly fantasy must-start.
The Raiders sorely missed Brock Bowers last week as he sat out with a knee injury, and his absence was glaring. Still, even when healthy, the talented tight end has struggled to find consistent footing in fantasy lineups this year.
Raiders vs Titans Game Predictions
This one's shaping up to be a battle between two of the NFL's basement dwellers, and let's be honest, somebody's got to come out on top… probably. The Las Vegas Raiders would be wise to keep things simple: hand the ball to Ashton Jeanty early and often. The rookie bruiser should be fed until he's full against a Tennessee Titans defense that's been as soft as butter against the run, surrendering nearly 150 rushing yards per game.
But if Geno Smith is asked to sling it around too much, things could go south in a hurry. Jeffery Simmons has the kind of power that can wreck a game plan by himself, and behind this shaky Raiders offensive line, Smith could easily end up throwing a couple of ill-advised interceptions.
Let's be real — there'll be plenty of better football to watch in Week 6. But if chaos is your thing, this one could deliver its own brand of messy entertainment.
