Daniel Jones and the Indianapolis Colts (3-1) are looking to bounce back from their first stumble of the season when they host Geno Smith and the Las Vegas Raiders (1-3) at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Raiders finally broke through for a win in 2025 but have since dropped three straight, including a gut-wrenching loss to the Chicago Bears, where a potential game-winning field goal was blocked on the final play. Momentum has been tough to find for Las Vegas, and Week 5's trip to Indianapolis won’t be any easier.
The Colts, meanwhile, endured their first setback last Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. Sitting atop the AFC South alongside the Jacksonville Jaguars, Indy has arguably been the bigger surprise of the two.
Their strong start, accomplished against a slightly tougher schedule than Jacksonville’s, has turned heads and left the league wondering if this is a team capable of making noise in the playoffs.
Indianapolis Colts vs Las Vegas Raiders kick-off time

Team news & squads
Indianapolis Colts team news
Indianapolis has its own injury concerns. Alec Pierce (concussion), Kenny Moore II (Achilles), Tyler Goodson (groin), and Matt Goncalves (toe) are all questionable for Sunday’s clash.
The Colts’ unbeaten run ended in Los Angeles last weekend, falling 27-20 to the Rams. Daniel Jones was sharp for stretches but also reckless, finishing 24-of-33 for 262 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Jonathan Taylor remained steady with 76 yards on 17 carries, while rookie wideout Adonai Mitchell flashed big-play ability by hauling in three passes for 96 yards. It was a competitive showing, but turnovers and late defensive lapses ultimately sealed their first loss of the year.

Las Vegas Raiders team news
The injury bug continues to nag Las Vegas. Michael Mayer (concussion), Decamerion Richardson (hamstring), and Eric Stokes (knee) are all questionable heading into Sunday, while left tackle Kolton Miller (ankle) has already been ruled out — a major blow to a line that can’t afford any more setbacks.
Last week against Chicago, the Raiders once again let a winnable game slip through their fingers. They held a 21-16 lead going into the fourth, only to be outscored 9-3 down the stretch in a painful 25-24 defeat. Geno Smith struggled with efficiency, completing just 14-of-21 passes for 117 yards with two touchdowns offset by three costly interceptions. The bright spot was rookie back Ashton Jeanty, who looked electric with 138 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. Brock Bowers led the receiving corps, pulling in five catches for 46 yards, but the passing attack never found its rhythm.

Colts vs Raiders Fantasy Football
We all figured Daniel Jones (19.0 projected W5 fpts) couldn’t keep up his scorching pace forever, and sure enough, reality checked him on Sunday against the Rams. He limped to a QB27 finish with just 10.4 fantasy points. Still, it wasn’t a complete disaster — Jones hit on 72.7% of his throws (24-of-33) at a healthy 7.9 yards per attempt. He even had a touchdown wiped away when Adonai Mitchell coughed the ball out of the end zone. The silver lining? This matchup sets up nicely for Jones to climb back into QB1 territory.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Taylor (17.5 projected W5 fpts) remains as steady as they come. Locked into a full-time role and now seeing real work as a pass-catcher, he continues to be one of the safest plays on the fantasy board heading into Week 5.
On the other sideline, Geno Smith (15.7 projected W5 fpts) has been the definition of feast-or-famine. His rollercoaster start reads like this: QB15 (17.5), QB34 (3.2), QB4 (26.1), and QB29 (9.8). Last week was ugly — just 117 passing yards at 5.6 per attempt, plus three brutal picks against a Chicago defense that had been a sieve against the pass. The Colts aren’t exactly airtight either, ranking 24th in passing fantasy points allowed (15.9 per game). That gives Smith some boom-or-bust QB2 juice if you’re willing to stomach the risk.
The breakout star of Week 4? That was Ashton Jeanty (12.8 projected W5 fpts). The rookie back finally delivered on the hype, gashing the defense for 138 yards and a touchdown at 6.6 yards per carry. If the Raiders want any shot of clawing their way back into the AFC mix, they’ll need Jeanty to keep churning out that kind of production.
And don’t sleep on Jakobi Meyers (8.0 projected W5 fpts). Even after a quiet Week 4, his target volume has been steady, and the matchup against Indy’s shaky pass defense makes him a prime rebound candidate. He’s pegged as a high-end WR2 this week, with a real shot at posting WR1-type numbers if the Raiders’ passing game clicks.
Colts vs Raiders Game Predictions
Both the Colts and Raiders are licking wounds from games where their quarterbacks threw multiple interceptions, and that turnover bug will loom large in this Week 5 showdown. The matchup may very well hinge on which team can establish the run. Indianapolis has struggled on that front all season, surrendering 4.5 yards per carry, among the worst in the league, while Las Vegas' ground game has been mostly ineffectual, averaging just 3.1 yards per carry until their breakout performance against Chicago last week.
Defensively, the Raiders are a bit of a mixed bag. They gave up 201 rushing yards to the Washington Commanders, yet kept all three of their other opponents under 100 rushing yards. This contest could boil down to which team has the stronger offensive line and the more reliable ground attack. If Geno Smith can protect the football, the Raiders have a real shot at stealing a road win.
The Colts, on the other hand, have been sensational offensively this season but last week exposed their vulnerability to turnovers. Daniel Jones flashed glimpses of his old self, including a costly game-sealing interception that underscored that even elite units aren’t immune to mistakes. This game might just come down to ball security and which backfield can assert itself first.
