The Bills welcome the Saints to Highmark Stadium on Sunday for a Week 4 NFL showdown.

The Saints were thoroughly outclassed in Week 3, trailing 38-6 by halftime and ultimately suffering a 44-13 drubbing at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks, dropping their record to 0-3.

Meanwhile, Buffalo has opened the season with three straight victories and sits atop the AFC East at 3-0 after a 31-21 victory over Miami, including a perfect 2-0 mark at Highmark Stadium. Averaging 34 points per contest, the Bills look poised to light up the scoreboard again against a New Orleans defense that has struggled mightily to contain opposing attacks.

Buffalo Bills team news

Josh Allen has been in top form, throwing for 755 yards and five touchdowns without a turnover. Rookie Keon Coleman has become a favorite target with 158 receiving yards and a score, while tight end Dalton Kincaid has chipped in 151 yards and two touchdowns. On the ground, James Cook provides balance with 284 rushing yards and four trips to the end zone.

Despite injuries to key defenders Matt Milano and Ed Oliver, the Bills’ defense remains formidable. Terrel Bernard has an interception, and edge rushers Greg Rousseau and Joey Bosa continue to collapse pockets. Buffalo has limited the Dolphins and Jets to a combined 31 points over the past two weeks, showcasing both a stout run defense and a disciplined secondary.

Buffalo could be shorthanded, with defensive tackle Ed Oliver and linebacker Matt Milano both questionable for the contest.

New Orleans Saints team news

Quarterback Spencer Rattler has thrown for 639 yards with four touchdowns against a single interception, leaning on veteran back Alvin Kamara, who’s logged 186 rushing yards on 50 carries. Rattler’s primary targets have been Juwan Johnson, the team’s receiving leader with 176 yards and a score, and Chris Olave, who has added 165 yards. Even so, the Saints are averaging just 15 points a game and continue to stall in the red zone.

Defensively, Demario Davis paces the unit with 31 tackles, while Carl Granderson leads the pass rush with 3.5 sacks. The defense has struggled to prevent explosive plays, surrendering 44 points to the Seahawks and 26 to the 49ers, and injuries along the defensive front have weakened their run-stopping ability. To keep this contest close, New Orleans will need sustained drives and surer tackling.

Offensive tackle Taliese Fuaga, linebacker Chase Young, wideouts DeVaughn Vele and Trey Palmer, along with tackle Dillon Radunz, are all listed as questionable heading into Sunday’s matchup.

Bills vs Saints Fantasy Football

The reigning league MVP has wasted no time reminding everyone why he wears that crown. Josh Allen (22.9 projected W4 fpts) has Buffalo sitting at 3-0 while looking as sharp as ever — piling up 755 passing yards, five touchdown throws, 114 yards on the ground, and two rushing scores. Perhaps most impressive, he’s yet to turn the ball over. If Allen avoids a rare off day, it’s hard to see the Bills being pushed too far out of their comfort zone this weekend.

If not for Jonathan Taylor, the biggest buzz in fantasy circles would be surrounding James Cook (14.1 projected Week 4 points). The Bills’ back has been explosive, ripping off chunk plays while also handling red-zone duties in one of the NFL’s most potent offenses. Sitting as the RB3 overall, Cook has matched Taylor for the league lead in touchdowns through the first three weeks — proving wrong anyone who doubted him during his contract standoff.

Spencer Rattler (12.1 projected Week 4 points) turned in a modest stat line in the Saints’ 44-13 defeat to Seattle, completing 28-of-39 passes for 218 yards with a single touchdown and one interception. Outside of a late score, the rookie passer was largely contained, leaning heavily on short completions to Chris Olave. He stays in the fringe QB2 mix for now.

Meanwhile, Alvin Kamara (10.3 projected Week 4 points) handled plenty of work but found little running room, rushing for 42 yards on 18 carries while adding one reception for 14 yards. The volume was there, but with just over two yards per carry, efficiency was a struggle. Even so, his workload should continue to keep him in the RB2 conversation.

Bills vs Saints Game Predictions

So far this season, the Saints' secondary has been shredded, allowing opposing quarterbacks to complete 70.8 percent of their throws with a sparkling 118.9 passer rating and a 7-to-0 touchdown-to-interception mark. That’s exactly the kind of matchup reigning MVP Josh Allen loves to exploit.

On the flip side, Buffalo's defense has been airtight, limiting its last two opponents to a mere 4.06 yards per snap and just 215 total yards per outing. With extra prep time heading into Week 4, the Bills look primed to deliver another emphatic, one-sided win.
