VIDEO: Pedri wasn't missing out! Injured Barcelona star hilariously carried into Spain celebrations after Euro 2024 victory over Germany - but midfielder's tournament is over

Pedri was in tears as he was taken off just eight minutes into Spain's Euro 2024 quarter-final win after a challenge from German midfielder Toni Kroos. Spain sealed the victory late in extra-time and the team gathered for a celebratory picture in the dressing room, but Pedri - with his knee heavily bandaged - had to be carried into the frame as the squad and staff refused to let him miss out.

Unfortunately, Pedri has been diagnosed with a sprained knee and has been ruled out of the remainder of the tournament. The news comes as a big blow to Spain as the Barcelona youngster had featured in four of their five matches at Euro 2024.

Pedri will watch from the sidelines as Spain take on France in the semi-finals next week. The midfielder will then hope to recover in time to feature in Barcelona's pre-season preparations as they begin a new chapter under Hansi Flick.
